Mac Os High Sierra For Serato Dj
I'm having issues with my NS-6 and Mac OS Sierra 10.12.4. Quickbooks for mac intuit. The left side won't load the track and I have to restart the Serato DJ program in the middle of my set. It has happen many times. I'm using Serato Dj 1.9.6. 6th November 2017 macOS 10.13 High Sierra is now supported with Serato DJ 1.9.10. If you plan to update, we do recommend doing so well ahead of any.

Serato DJ software is now supported for use with macOS Sierra, with some exceptions listed below. Before updating, make sure to check the compatibility of your DJ hardware in the list below, as some devices require either driver or firmware updates from the hardware manufacturer for official support.
Requires a driver / firmware update. Denon MCX8000 - download and upgrade firmware from here. Hold off upgrading until further notice. • Mixars DUO • Numark NS7II • Numark NS7 • Numark NS6 • Numark V7 • Allen & Heath DB2 • Allen & Heath DB4 • Rane TTM-57II • Rane MP2015 • Rane 61 • Rane 62 • Rane 64 • Rane 68 • • • •. So educate me- as true vinyl is out of the question for me. How can I efficiently mix- (with moving platters)?
By not using a controller that requires manufacturer software? Iv never used a traktor setup (but not against it). When I went with the controller- it was between ssl and itch.
Obviously I went with itch, because it was the more economical setup for what I needed. I just wanna mix. When my ns7 dies what route do you suggest I go? That will be able to keep up with the updates and everything else? I figured ssl was still a up-to date thing- but you have explained otherwise. So what's the alternative? Kinda tired of this bullshit.
It was a mess trying to downgrade my Mac last year when I upgraded to El Capitan accidentally. Almost fucked up a Halloween gig.
Finally six months later I get the drivers needed from serato/numark to actually upgrade. I didn't make the same mistake this year. But aggravated I can't upgrade my Mac. Who blames numark. (whoevers fault this is) needs to be more timely with this shit. My ns7 isn't that old, and I plan to play that shit until it doesn't play anymore!
Sometimes I feel like this is just a way to get people to upgrade their hardware • • • •. Every time an OS updates, almost all media software and especially hardware has a chance of fucking up and it's always recommended that you wait until you get the OK from the developers before updating. This isn't a Serato or a Numark issue, it's a problem with OS updates in general. The problem is that it used to not be as apparent - especially with macs - when OS upgrades only happened every few years or when it cost money to upgrade the OS. But now that Apple releases an update every year for free, more people are just blithely updating without realizing that there's a good chance a lot of their hardware and software can be broken due to the update. If you want to DJ or make music, or whatever, always, always wait until the developer gives the OK before upgrading - and even then, I would probably wait a little longer and let some other sucker test it out before making the upgrade.
