I've really enjoyed boom beach after bouncing off most games of it's type. I'm looking for similar games, in the sense of having some sort of progression while not playing, with these characteristics: No social crap - gifting, having to connect to facebook/twitter, etc.
(pvp is OK, although I'm fine without it). Huge annoyance.
Some sort of gameplay - whether it's figuring out stats and math, action, TD, or whatever, but something. Any situation where there are actual choices to be made. Overly intrusive IAP - obviously this is in the eye of beholder, but I've really enjoyed how little IAP is pushed in boom beach. Tribez & Castlez on the other hand is shoving it in my face at every second, and it's ruining the enjoyment of the game.
Elmedia Player is very good in downloading from YouTube! Windows 10 dvd playback app for windows. Download videos from YouTube PRO How many times have you bumped into a YouTube video that you wanted to save and be able to watch without Internet connection?
A lot of offline progression - I don't mind games where things take a long (real world) time to complete, I prefer that. Other games that I've tried, were decent, but ultimately not good enough: Hay day - too much social stuff, silly ways of obtaining a lot of necessary tools (by planting lots of low lvl food) Tribez & Castlez - Again too much social and IAP, although I'm still trying it since it could turn out worthwhile despite it Mini Warriors - Cute, but gameplay is too simple and one dimensional. No city, just upgrading units who can only be upgraded in a linear simple fashion. I jumped on Boom Beach when it was available on the Play Store for my area. I got into similar games back when CoC was new to the scene and realized after a few weeks it was a waste of time and I wasn't going to put money into it.
Boom Beach restarted that type of game for me so I decided to do things a bit differently this time. I play several types of these games at once and just slowly progress my base when the timers are done. I've been through about 20 games and researched similar games and I've settled on a few. For me the polish and art style is why these are my picks and everything else was uninstalled. Also I hate long load times to get into the game. Boom Beach, Clash of Clans, Samurai Siege, Royal Revolt 2 I had 2 more on that list that were good enough for me but I realized juggling 6 was way too intensive. If I can buy workers I save up all the initial gems (and rewards) to get that 3rd or 4th.
I minimize PVP initially and focus on high level resource producers, storage and leveling up the command center asap. That's all I've got to say on that matter.
It's a unique game for sure. I had seen several ads for it in other games but never considered downloading it before. It's a mix of tower defense, and I guess a Dungeon Keeper.
