Question: Q: Mac Compatible Wireless USB Dongle Recently, I purchased a used iBook G4 (Mid 2005). The price was right, but the seller informed me that there was an issue with the Airport card. The Inamax USB 3.0 wireless adapter is a small unit with a 5dBi antenna to get a good WiFi signal. It also has the new 802.11AC WiFi protocols and is dual band, 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz. This makes it a good fit to add wireless to a desktop or upgrade a laptops WiFi. The 5dBi antenna also helps to get a better signal from a distance.

Recently, I purchased a used iBook G4 (Mid 2005). The price was right, but the seller informed me that there was an issue with the Airport card. That issue being that the computer would kernel panic whenever airport was turned on. I have been running the computer smoothly with airport turned off and a direct connection to the internet. However, the lack of portability is becoming frustrating, and rather than pay to have the computer serviced, or replace the card myself (Airport Card is not a DIY on the mid 2005 iBook like I initially thought), I decided to buy a USB dongle to connect to my wireless network. However, after several frustrating searches, I have been unable to find a USB dongle that is Mac compatible.

I imagine that many are compatible with OS X 10.4.11 even if it isn't explicitly mentioned, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a good USB dongle that I would be able to use with little to no problems. Kindle for mac won't open. Change indent in word for mac. Should have marked this topic as a question.
