Chrome extension like that don’t play well with my Macbook and i have been wishing for a long time that there was a real native app for hangouts. This app is it. It works natively and behaves itself. No dependence on Chrome. More importantly, it integrates with OSX notification center and has proper dock icon badge, so there’s less change of missing messages.

It also supports Google Voice synced throught Google Hangouts and i am able to call and text perfectly through the app. Problem solved.

Office 365 subscription for ipad. I can pin to task bar, assign to all desktops and has saved me from looking for another voip client. This version doesn’t appear to have the ability to make phone call but developer made a version to enable that available upon request. I’m not sure for other negative reviews about support site, I made a request in support site and the supporter reply me in minutes. Back to being product again.!
