Halo 2 Emulator Mac
Ive installed Halo 2 on a MacBook Pro using Bootcamp. The OS I installed was Vista 32bit edition. Although there were some tearing in the textures on the Halo 2 splash screen. If there are any problems running Halo 2 on Mac hardware, I think it will likely be due to driver issues, rather than the hardware itself.
Halo 2 Review by: - 9.2/10 The Best Xbox Game of them All Halo 2 was the best selling video game on the Xbox. Squeal to the hit video game Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2 took what worked and added so much more to it. Not only did Halo 2 end up being the most successful game on the original Xbox, but it won numerous different awards as well.
But did Halo 2 really do it right? Or did it just sell because people are suckers for squeals? Let's take a look at the specifics and decide for ourselves. Is Halo 2 worth being considered as the best game on the Xbox? Graphics: 8 The graphics in Halo 2 are a major improvement from the original.
Though they still have a plastic-like feel to them, that can be expected from a video game on the Xbox. But as far as Xbox games can go, Halo 2 actually does really good with graphics. There's a lot of detail in everything and overall it's just really well done. You can see way more in this game than you can in many of its time.
Though there may still be room for improvement, it was still exceptional for the time it was made. Sound: 9 The sound in Halo 2 is excellent. First of all, the soundtrack is amazing. It is a perfect addition to the game. The sound effects are good too.
There are many gunshots of various types as well as explosions throughout this game, and they all sound right. The vehicles are good, the ambient sound, and even the miscellaneous sound effects. The voice acting, though nothing amazing, is still worth noting. Most of the lines sound authentic and can be very cleverly done at times. Addictiveness: 8 Halo 2 is your typical shooter, except it has sci-fi elements to it.
This combination provides a fun game that can be played for hours. Unfortunately, like many first person shooters, Halo 2 has very little variety in its game play and it can grow old over time.
But if you're into shooting stuff with bullets and plasma blasts alike, then this game can provide you with a few hours of fun. Story: 9 In Halo 2, the humans and the Covenant continue their war across the galaxy. Halo 2 is the game where the Halo mythos really started to expand, giving us a look at the infrastructure of the Covenant. It also follows the story of the Arbiter, a Covenant general that failed his mission, and must now die in battle to regain his honor. With the additional strife within the Covenant itself, the story really does progress. That's before we even mention interference from the Flood.
Halo 2's story is one of the biggest and most in depth video game story lines of its time. Depth: 6 In Halo 2, you play through several missions as two different characters (Master Chief and the Arbiter) while utilizing numerous different weapons and vehicles to get your objective completed. You can also play co-op and competitions in split-screen.
This game's major drawback is the fact that the levels are very linear. There is only one way to solve most problems. Your only real choice is which weapons you're going to carry. This game does have some unique features, however.
