No further update has been provided since then, so it’s difficult to say whether or not Apple has acted on the complaint. However, rest assured as we’ll update you as and when more information surfaces. Meanwhile, we urge those affected to keep testing Backup and Sync on High Sierra, and let us know as soon as they observe any change in behavior. Note: For those who aren’t aware, support for Google Drive is on macOS High Sierra, which means Backup and Sync is anyway useless for Drive users on the OS.
