Gmail Receives But Will Not Send, Asking For Unknown Pw Via Tbird Mac

I have to re-enter my username and password every single time this message pops up (at least 3 times back to back) to send or receive emails. If I hit 'no' to the pop up box or cancel to the next username and password pop up, I am unable to receive or send mail until I close and reopen outlook.

Looked in All Mail, Spam and Trash.Nothing showed up in the search. No filters defined. Create pivot table in excel for mac. Access with web browser. The only box checked in the Forwarding/POP/IMAP settings is 'Disable IMAP', nothing else configured.

No POP3 configured, not fetching from another account. Not sure what you mean by 'Try a Check Mail Now'. No Bounced message sent to sender from other Gmail account Sent a message to new gmail account from a hotmail account, no bounce back, no message received at new gmail account. What's so strange is its a brand new account, just set up, I haven't touched any of the settings.

Bkc56 10/4/2012, 14:36 น. Good morning bkc56. Thank you so much for your efforts in trying to get my email working properly. As discussed, it was a brand new account and I could send email but not receive it. Last night I managed to speak to technical support on the phone and got the problem resolved. Here is their response: As we discussed, the reason you could not receive emails previously was due to the fact that your MX records were not configured properly. I was able to walk you through in order to configure the MX records.

You must always go to your domain host's website and access the DNS settings in order to be able to configure them. View this article for more information on MX records. HuronGal 11/4/2012, 6:31 น. Hi -- I'm hoping perhaps you can help me as well.

My gmail account is purely personal so I have been totally unable to contact anyone at google. Below are the questions you posted to hurongal above, and my responses. How to use add ins in excel for mac. Ave you looked in All Mail for the missing messages? YES What about Spam?

YES What about Trash? YES Have you used the Search Mail function at the top of the page to look for the missing messages? Look in Settings->Filters and Settings->Forwarding. Is there anything defined? Do you access your account with an e-mail client (Outlook, Thunderbird, Pocomail, etc), phone, notifier, or any other add-on/tool/web-site/etc? Is anything enabled in Settings->POP/IMAP?

Check Settings -> Accounts and Import -> Change Account Settings -> Other Google account settings -> Authorizing applications & sites. Have you given account access to any other web-sites or utilities? Check Settings->Accounts->Check mail using POP3. Are you fetching e-mail from another account that may have stopped? Try a Check Mail Now.

Did the senders get any sort of bounced/failed/rejected messages returned to them (post the full headers here)? Have you tried sending yourself a test-message from a non-Gmail account? Have you tried sending a test-message to that non-Gmail account and replying? Does either direction work? Runforfun54 6/8/2012, 7:49 น. I am at my wit's end.

I am not a Gmail business client so cannot access anyone at google. Haven't received a new email since July 24. Not on any of my mac products, nor via. I have also checked all the Gmail help pages (that you listed at the bottom of your email). You are my last hope!!!
